    Very talented and kind doctor. Takes needed time without rushing to check patient. Explains treatment plan too. Treatment is effective too.

    I visited in December 2025 for my annual eye check-up. After undergoing several eye investigations, I was informed that I had eye pressure/glaucoma and was advised to immediately start eye drops.

    As this was a lifelong diagnosis and treatment, I decided to seek a second opinion at Sankaranethralaya in India. After undergoing extensive investigations there, I was informed that I did not have elevated eye pressure or glaucoma, and that the findings seen on the imaging were more consistent with a congenital/birth-related optic nerve variation.

    While I understand the importance of caution in eye care, the initial diagnosis caused me considerable stress and anxiety. I believe patients should consider obtaining a second opinion before beginning long-term glaucoma treatment.
